The University of New Brunswick is proud to partner with the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) to provide a continuing education program for safety professionals.
ASSP’s new Certificate in Leadership & Professional Skills enables students to strengthen their business and professional acumen while enhancing their education and experience as a safety professional.
The program provides the foundation needed to develop the critical soft skills necessary for success and introduces students to a number of important and emerging technical areas within the field.
Students will learn how to understand their leadership style, as well as their thinking and behavioural preferences. The program allows for the enhancement of specific skills, knowledge, and abilities required to create positive change in an organization.
This program is self-paced. Students have approximately 13 weeks to complete each 46-hour course.
